File Types
We accept artwork in PDF or TIFFS files. Most software (e.g. Adobe, Corel Draw, Quark Xpress) provide you with the facility to output and save your artwork in PDF format. Please avoid sending JPGs as they compress data resulting in a loss of quality when printing. If you have any doubts about what we require please contact us to discuss the options before you start your design.
Ownership of Artwork Supplied by Customers
We cannot be held responsible for any artwork copyright infringements on artwork supplied by customers. The customer must have permission to use all images, text and logos thatare supplied to us.
When signing off a job, prior to printing, the customer acknowledges that copyright responsibility is held with themselves and not onlineleafletsprinting.co.uk
Colours
Artwork files and images that are to be used for commercial litho printing, must be created using CMYK (not RGB) for colours to print correctly. Please ensure that all colours used in the design of your print-ready artwork file are made up of CMYK values. All Black text should be 100% Black only. We do not provide Pantone or Spot Colour matching of any kind with our full colour printing service. Note; most Pantone colours have a CMYK equivalent.
Resolution
Images for professional colour or grayscale printing need to be set at 300dpi to print clearly. Web images are generally 72dpi and RGB. These images are
not suitable for use in commercial printing.
Fonts/Texts and Layers
Text should be set at a minimum of 5mm in from any page edge. All fonts/text must be converted to curves or paths, and all layers flattened, before
uploading to us.
Artwork Sizes
Paper Sizes Files should be supplied including bleeds if needed.
Print will be returned as the finished sizes.
Please ensure all artwork is centred within the document page.
